Hundreds of people involved: the fight against vandalism in Astana continues

The next vandals who caused damage to other people's property were brought to justice, the official website of the Astana Akimat reports.
On the night of December 14, a 30-year-old citizen, while intoxicated, smashed the wipers, hit and bent the hood of someone else's car. By his actions, he caused material damage in the amount of 400 thousand tenge.
On the evening of December 16, a 32-year-old man, being on Mustafina Street, intentionally caused damage to other people's property.
The violators were found and brought to administrative responsibility under Article 147-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Preventive maintenance is being carried out in Astana as part of the "Stop Vandal" campaign, which was supported by volunteers, activists, famous athletes, and residents of the city.
The purpose of the action is to stop any manifestations of vandalism and keep the capital clean and tidy.
Since the beginning of the year, the court has punished over 300 people for intentionally damaging other people's property, polluting public areas, and damaging buildings and residential premises. All of them were brought to justice.
Vandalism prevention is carried out under the coordination of the City Prosecutor's Office and the Police Department.
