Since the establishment of the Zhetisu region in the region, as a result of repairs and new construction, the renewal of social infrastructure facilities has amounted to 50%. In particular, 15 new schools with 5,310 places have been commissioned in the field of education, and 19 facilities have been overhauled. At the same time, 98 facilities have been commissioned in the healthcare sector over the past three years. This became known today during a briefing by Akim of the region Beibit Isabayev, held at the site of the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana, the press service of Akim of the region Zhetisu reports.
As part of the national project "Comfortable School", 2 schools for 1,800 places have been under construction in the region since 2023, while one of them was commissioned this year, and the second is moving to next year. In total, 7 schools are planned to be built in 2025. As a result, 38 or 40% of the 95 schools to be renovated will be renovated.
As for the healthcare sector, 98 facilities have been put into operation in the field of Healthcare over the past three years, 31 of them are under new construction, 61 block–modular medical complexes have also been installed, and 6 facilities have been overhauled. This year alone, 51 facilities have already been built in the region, including 25 new facilities and 26 BMCs.
- It should be noted that the Zhetisu region was among the first to widely apply the practice of installing block-modular complexes. For example, 69 more healthcare facilities are scheduled to be commissioned next year, including 44 new construction facilities, 36 of them under the Rural Healthcare Modernization program and 18 block–modular complexes. Major repairs will also cover 7 facilities. As a result of the measures taken, 167 facilities or 57.2% of the 292 healthcare facilities in the region that are subject to repair will be renovated," B. Issabayev said.
The sphere of culture is also not ignored, where in 2022-2024 12 cultural centers, including 8 BMCs, were put into operation, and 10 facilities were overhauled. 7 more facilities will be commissioned next year. Thus, the update will be 33.3%.
As for sports, 18 facilities have been commissioned in the region in this area, including FOCi, sports complexes, wrestling halls, stadiums, and 10 block-modular sports complexes have also been installed. In addition, Taldykorgan has introduced the Zhetisu volleyball center, which has no analogues in Kazakhstan, and a four-story apartment building for athletes, built at the expense of investors.
