Since the establishment of the region, 43 new enterprises have been introduced in the Zhetisu region, 9 existing ones have been expanded, as a result, more than 1 thousand residents have been provided with new jobs. This was announced by Akim of the region Beibit Isabayev during a briefing at the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana, the press service of Akim of the region Zhetisu reports.
In particular, an idle 500-ton plant "Zhetisu Majiko Agrocomplex" for the production of sunflower oil was launched and a new plant "Asma Industrial" for the production of industrial batteries was introduced in Taldykorgan. In addition, as part of the development of the mining sector, a major project has been launched to build a metallurgical plant worth 1.3 trillion tenge with the creation of more than 2 thousand jobs and a capacity of 860 thousand tons of copper concentrate per year.
- As the Head of State noted in his Message, we must take comprehensive measures to effectively use the country's industrial potential. Currently, the production of cement, batteries, ceramic tiles has been established in the field of food processing, the production of animal feed and solar panels is developing. A total of 549 industrial enterprises are registered in the region. In addition, there is a great potential for the development of renewable energy sources," Akim of the region B. Isabayev said.
In general, there are 189 projects worth 2.6 trillion tenge in the investment portfolio of the region until 2030, where it is planned to create more than 11 thousand jobs, including 121 projects worth 2.1 trillion tenge and the creation of 8.3 thousand jobs at the implementation stage.
