Animal husbandry is developing at a good pace in the field of Zhetisu. The growth of all types of livestock has been ensured, and the production of meat and milk has been increased. At the same time, the number of four main types of agricultural animals reached 2.5 million heads. This became known today during a briefing at the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of Akim of the Zhetisu region Beibit Isabayev, the press service of Akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
As it became known, in 2024-2026, 31 investment projects with a total cost of 33.2 billion tenge are planned to be implemented in the region, of which 13 projects were launched this year, including 4 dairy farms, a feedlot, a dairy workshop and 7 irrigation projects.
-In order to increase the area of new irrigated lands, 35.6 billion tenge has been allocated in the Zhetisu region this year for the reconstruction of irrigation networks. 11 facilities are under construction, including 4 completed, the remaining facilities will be commissioned in 2025. As a result, 5.3 thousand hectares of irrigated land will be put into circulation, and water supply to 37.1 thousand hectares will be improved," said the head of the region, B. Isabayeva.
