The results of the Dostyk-2024 competition of ethnocultural associations, held under the motto "Unity is in diversity!", were summed up in the Abai region. This competition is aimed at activating the work of ethno-cultural associations, strengthening social harmony, unity and preserving the cultural heritage of all ethnic groups living in the region.
The Dostyk-2024 platform has become a place to share experiences, creative achievements and projects aimed at developing a united, cohesive society in which culture and the contribution of each ethnic group are valued.
"For three decades, we have been tirelessly saying that Kazakhstan is a sacred land where representatives of over 130 nationalities live in peace and harmony. And indeed it is! Thanks to peace and friendship, creative work and common faith in the future, a new generation of Kazakhstanis has grown up on the canons of tolerance, for whom the "Great Steppe" is a single land. We are one people and we have a common future! Therefore, the award of the DOSTYK Prize, first of all, symbolizes unity, friendship and cooperation. And on the eve of the New Year 2025, the year of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, I want to express my gratitude to all of you, wish you good health, good spirits and new achievements for the benefit of our Motherland!" said the governor of the region in his speech.
This year, the winners were determined in four nominations. Andrey Alekseevich Artyomov was awarded the Birlik public Gold Medal of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan for his significant contribution to strengthening the unity of the country, preserving peace and harmony, and developing spiritual culture.
Among the laureates of the competition, Askerbek Omarbekuly Molbayev was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan for his contribution to strengthening unity and social harmony, Sairash Nurtaevna Ibraeva was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the Assembly for the development of spiritual values, Oralkhan Imangalievich Sartayev received a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Culture and Information for his active public activities.
The winners were awarded in four categories: "For high creativity and professionalism", "For contribution to the development of spiritual unity and national harmony", For contribution to the development of civil society and youth organizations", as well as in the nomination "Popularization of traditions and customs".
