The long-awaited water supply was launched in the village of Akzhar, Bukhar-Zhyrau district. Previously, the villagers used water from wells and wells.
The village of Akzhar is located 60 km from the district center. More than 350 people live here. There is Internet, cellular communication, lighting, but there was no central water supply.
The water supply began to be built last year. According to the head of the construction department, Alisher Zharzhanov, the project was implemented according to the Concept of Housing and communal infrastructure development for 2023-2029. Currently, 70% of the total number of subscribers are connected to water supply networks.
– The whole village has been waiting for a long time for centralized water to be connected to us. They experienced great inconvenience using water from wells. Now the water quality is good, it is suitable for drinking. Thanks to everyone involved in this, as well as to those who built our water pipeline! – says Zauresh Mauenova, a resident of Akzhar village.
But this is not the only improvement in Akzhara. According to the akim of Kerney rural district Yerkhan Yessentayev, the work is not limited only to water supply.
– We are currently updating the lighting. Major repairs of the access road and routine repairs of intra–village roads are planned for next year in the village of Akzhar, Yerkhan Yessentayev said.
