Rescuers of Kazakhstan against corruption: regional steps towards honesty and transparency

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan strictly adheres to the principle of zero tolerance for corruption. The Agency is actively working to create an anti-corruption culture among its employees, taking all necessary measures to prevent and prevent corruption. Within the framework of this policy, many preventive measures are carried out aimed at eradicating corruption at all levels.
The action "Rescuers against Corruption" continues in the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the purpose of which is to raise awareness and strengthen anti–corruption awareness among the personnel. As part of the campaign, events aimed at preventing corruption offenses in civil protection agencies are being organized.
Seminars, round tables, working meetings and questionnaires are regularly held with the participation of law enforcement officials and other agencies. The main purpose of these events is to ensure compliance with anti–corruption legislation and create conditions for the prevention of corruption.
In particular, in the Irtysh district of the emergency Department of the Pavlodar region, a meeting of emergency personnel with a lawyer of the 2nd class, prosecutor of the Irtysh district Kanat Omarov took place. During the meeting, the aspects of responsibility for corruption offenses within the framework of current legislation were explained. A round table was organized in Bayanauli district with the participation of representatives of the Amanat party, where key issues of anti-corruption legislation and measures to eliminate corruption risks were discussed.
In the East Kazakhstan region, the personnel inspector of the Department of Personnel and Educational Work and a psychologist of the Emergency Department held a meeting with Gulzhan Abdillinova, a psychologist at the Anti-Corruption Agency. During the event, a transformational game was organized with the participation of emergency service officers, aimed at preventing and encouraging anti-corruption behavior among employees. Farhat Amre, Deputy Head of the Emergency Department of East Kazakhstan Region, stressed that such trainings contribute to the education of civic responsibility and legal self-awareness.
A seminar meeting was held in the emergency department of the Ulytau region under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Chingiz Samiev, at which issues of preventing violations of anti-corruption legislation were discussed. Senior officer of the Prevention Department of the Anti-Corruption Service of the region Bakhyt Shotov explained the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption" and answered questions from the staff.
A seminar meeting was also held in the Emergency Department of the Zhetisu region with the participation of representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agency. During the event, key aspects of the implementation of the Concept of Anti-Corruption Policy aimed at eradicating corruption at all levels of public service were considered. It was explained to the participants how new standards of transparency and accountability are being implemented, and the importance of building an anti-corruption culture among employees was emphasized.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan pays special attention to the fight against corruption. Preventive work is carried out on an ongoing basis, aimed at fostering intolerance to corruption among employees. All these measures contribute to the creation of a transparent and honest system capable of effectively countering corruption risks.
