Akim of the region Dastan Ryspekov went down to the mine and met with the miners. Further negotiations took place with the foremen of the sites. The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the regional maslikhat Bauyrzhan Shingisov, Akim of Satpayev Murat Buribayev, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Kazakhmys Corporation Tolegen Bukurov LLP, and heads of law enforcement agencies.
The Governor of the region explained about the severe consequences of the shutdown of production for the heat supply facilities of the region and noted the need to resolve the issue through conciliation measures.
Also, D.Ryspekov conveyed to the miners the concern of residents of the cities of Zhezkazgan and Satpayev about the situation in the SOUTH.
Akim of the Ulytau region called on all miners to stop the protests and get to work.
Negotiations are continuing.
