In 2024, the Ministry of Culture and Information successfully implemented the Development Concept of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026. Within the framework of this work, more than 9 thousand events were held, involving over 700 thousand people.
One of the important events of the year was the XXXIII session of the APK "Unity. Creation. Progress", which was held on April 25 under the chairmanship of the Head of State. The event was attended by more than 1,500 people, including members of the APK, members of Parliament and representatives of ethnic and cultural associations.
An important contribution to the information sphere was the creation of 6 documentaries, among which Otandastar, Birlik Besigi and the Shanyrak program stand out.
Meetings of the APK Journalists Club were also held in different cities of Kazakhstan, where the prevention of interethnic conflicts and countering the "hate speech" were discussed.
The discipline "Ethnopolitical literacy" has been introduced in the educational sphere in four universities of the country. Work is underway to increase the number of educational institutions with programs in the disciplines of "Ethnopolitology" and "Ethnojournalism".
The Birlik international camp and the APK Language School were organized for the youth of the country.
At the same time, the projects "Bir El" and "Road of Peace and Harmony" have been implemented.
On November 22, Astana hosted the awarding ceremony for the winners of the cultural and educational project of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan "My Bala". The project is aimed at popularizing the Kazakh identity and strengthening the unity of the people by involving preschool children, schoolchildren and youth of different ethnic groups in learning the state language, as well as introducing them through creativity to the national and spiritual values of the Kazakh people.
In 2025, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its founding. More than 5,000 events of various formats are planned.
