Astana hosted a screening of the children's New Year's play "Ademi Yertegi" as part of the republican environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan", the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
The performance was attended by about 2,200 spectators.
"Ademi Ortega" is not just an exciting New Year's show, but also an important educational event aimed at drawing children's attention to issues of ecological culture and environmental protection.
"We held screenings of the New Year's play "Ademi Ortega" for young residents of the capital, the purpose of which is to highlight environmental issues. We did not touch on this topic by chance, because in April of this year, the Head of State launched the environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan". We wanted the audience to feel like a part of this action. The performance is very bright and beautiful, its characters are images of animals living in Kazakhstan. In the game format, young viewers helped to "clean up" the garbage in the sea, saving the New Year. In this way, children get acquainted with the ecological diversity of our country. It is worth noting that the performance was held in Kazakh and Russian. In my opinion, it is important to widely publicize environmental issues in the country, since awareness of citizens is half the success of any initiative," said Dana Dautova, the organizer of the event.
The performance took place over two days. On the first day, children from socially vulnerable segments of the population and orphanages took part in it. On the second day, the event was attended by the wards of charitable organizations, public foundations, as well as children from large families.
"I thank the organizers for a wonderful New Year's performance. The children were delighted with the bright costumes, cheerful songs and dances. The atmosphere of the event was filled with celebration, and the production itself was a positive charge. I am sure that all the participants, children and adults, received a lot of positive emotions and a feeling of real magic," one of the parents shared her impressions.
The organizer of the show was the Directorate for Cultural Events of the Akimat of Astana.
