170 courtyards and public spaces have been improved in Astana this year. The works covered all areas of the city. Mayor of Astana Zhenis Kassymbek told where the points of attraction appeared at a briefing in the CCS.
"Large-scale landscaping works have been carried out this year. For example, on the Kazakh Eli Square in front of the Independence Palace, comprehensive landscaping was carried out with a total area of 13 hectares, a green boulevard was created along Zhurgenova Street, this street is one of the main streets of the neighborhood. The Akbulak River embankment has also been improved in the Almaty region. Last year, work was carried out from Sh. Kudaiberdyuly Ave. to pr. Abylai Khan. This year, the work was carried out from pr. Abylaikhan to Amman street.
The Zhastar Park has been significantly transformed. There are pump tracks, a skate park, and a new play area. In addition, there is a modern sports complex "Sana" on the territory of the park, where all the necessary conditions have been created for an active lifestyle," said Mayor of the capital Zhenis Kassymbek.
This year, the forecourt of the city and the adjacent Birzhan Sal and Goethe streets were also improved. The total length of the station streets was 1.5 km. It also included the beautification of 5 public spaces. As part of the project to reconstruct the historical streets of the city, the total area of landscaping amounted to more than 17 thousand square meters.
In addition, Ulytau Alley, Mangilik El Ave., Tauelsizdik Ave., Turan Avenue, part of Mynzhyldyk Alley, squares near Keruen and Khan Shatyr shopping malls, in the Agrogorodok residential complex, along Zhenis, Zhagalau MKRN, Valikhanov Street, etc.
Special attention is paid to landscaping during landscaping. This year, about 1 million green spaces have been planted in the city and in the territory of the "green belt". The city's Landscaping Regulations have been adopted. Now, no developer will rent out an object without an implemented arboretum and three-year obligations to take care of the green spaces around their facility.
