Today, in Kyzylorda, within the framework of the "Year of Spirituality", republican performers of "Terme – education, song – spirit", dedicated to the moral life of the statesman and public figure Temirbek Zhurgenov, the 90th anniversary of the publication of "Shahnameh" and the 100th anniversary of the publication of the collection "Terme", held a competition.
The contestants came from the cities and regions of Astana, Almaty, Mangystau, Aktobe, Pavlodar, Turkestan. the singers took part.
Deputy Akim of the region Shakhmardan Baymanov read out congratulations from the head of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev, and wished the singers good luck. With the direct participation of Zhurgenov, a resolution "On the regulation of the school system in Kazakhstan and the increase of Kazakh secondary schools" was adopted. He was one of the organizers of the 1st meeting of Kazakh national artists in Almaty and the decade of Kazakh art and literature in Moscow. Mukhtar Auezov, Zhumat Shanin, Abilkhan Kasteev created conditions for creativity. Turmagambet specially brought tar to Almaty and translated Firdowsi's "Shahnama" into Kazakh. Our task is to revive his name in the memory of the people and popularize it among the younger generation. May the legacy of the only children of our people serve the country.
