The pace of housing provision is growing in Martuk district

In the center of Martuk district, 54 families have received new homes, and by the end of the year, another 88 families will own their own homes.
Akim of the district Medet Iskakov handed over the keys to 54 apartments to residents standing in line, sharing with them the joy of the long-awaited event.
In Kensakhara village, the construction of 4 houses with 8 apartments has been completed, and in Martuk village, the construction of 39 houses with 78 apartments will be completed by the end of the year.
Waiting list for housing:
- Large families – 117
- Orphaned children – 287
- Socially vulnerable segments of the population – 200
- Employees of government agencies and budget institutions – 65
There are 671 people in total.
This project is one of the important steps aimed at improving the standard of living of the population.
The results of previous years:
- In 2019, 8 houses (for two apartments) were built in the village of Martuk, 14 families were provided with housing.
- In 2020, 20 communal houses were allocated to large families in the village of Kumsai.
- In 2024, 8 more houses were purchased, which were transferred to those in need.
By the end of 2024, another 150 families will receive the keys to new housing.
According to the mayor, the main goal is to provide each family with their own cozy home. Large-scale projects are being implemented in this direction in Martuk district. Such significant steps to provide social support to the population will continue.
