The results of the republican contest of video tutorials and video lectures "Panorama of pedagogical ideas – 2024", which started in April this year with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, have been summed up. About 5,000 teachers took part in it, of which 108 won prizes.
The aim is to summarize and popularize modern pedagogical experience and best practices of teachers' interaction in the field of early/functional literacy development of students on an interdisciplinary basis.
The competition consists of two stages: regional and national. The videos were created in 12 areas, which were evaluated by members of the regional expert council according to seven criteria.
"Representatives of the Orleu and external experts in the areas of the competition were involved in the work in the republican expert council. The competition evaluation procedure was open and transparent. The list of winners of the republican stage will be posted on the website and official accounts of the branches of our center," said Aidana Shilibekova, Chairman of the Board of the National Center for Advanced Training "Orleu".
Thus, 102 teachers became holders of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree diplomas. The authors of the most viewed videos on YouTube were identified in each area. In addition, this year UNESCO evaluated the works of the contest participants for the first time, additionally awarding special awards in the areas of "Education in the spirit of global citizenship" and "Education in the field of climate change". This initiative has increased the quality and relevance of the competition, bringing its status closer to the international expert level.
