105 Kazvodkhoz specialists will travel to China for professional development seminars. The agreement was reached at a meeting of the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Nurzhan Nurzhigitov with representatives of the Chinese company Power China in Kazakhstan.
The two-week seminars will be held quarterly. In April next year, 30 people will leave for China, followed by groups of 25 people each. In the near future, the parties will determine the topic and direction of the seminars.

"One of the mandatory points in negotiations with foreign companies and states is joint training and retraining of personnel. I am sure that our specialists will gain useful experience in China. This year, the Ministry has seriously taken up the professional development of water management workers. For example, more than 500 people have completed courses at specialized centers. This is 12% more than the initial plan," said Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Nurzhan Nurzhigitov.
The minister also discussed with Chinese businessmen the issue of Power China's participation in the construction and reconstruction of reservoirs in Kazakhstan. The foreign delegates expressed their willingness to invest in the creation of a new water infrastructure in the country.
