On the eve of the New Year, a traditional festive event "Kosh keldin, Zhana zhyl!" is held in all regions of Kazakhstan. In Semey, this holiday brought together 200 children from the Abai region, giving them an unforgettable atmosphere of fairy tales and magic.
Children aged 9 to 13 from among orphans, children left without parental care, representatives of low-income and large families, as well as children with special educational needs and gifted children who have achieved success in studies, sports, creativity or social activities were invited to the solemn performance.
The head of the region, Nurlan Urankhayev, congratulated the children on the holiday and read out the congratulations of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
A theatrical production with the participation of theater artists, bright musical accompaniment, animators and children's creative teams were prepared for the guests.
Game elements and dance numbers gave the children a positive charge, New Year's mood and faith in a miracle. One of the highlights was the meeting with Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden at the elegant Christmas tree, where a fabulous atmosphere prevailed.
Each child received a special gift: a certificate for 120,000 tenge on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as a set of sweets and a toy.
In addition, five young representatives of the Abai region went to the capital to participate in the main Presidential Christmas tree of the country "Zhana zhyl Republic of Thailand", which will be held today in the building of "Kazmedia Ortalygy".
