Housing renovation program: The Akimat of the city has developed a new Housing Renovation Program until 2030, which was approved by the Maslikhat on November 29, 2024. Today, there are 1,366 dilapidated houses in the city. The renovation program provides for the modernization of 676 of them, that is, half of the dilapidated houses by 2030.
The main principles of the new Renovation Program are the block building. At the same time, the owners of dilapidated housing will be given the opportunity to exchange on a room-for-room basis or receive monetary compensation at market value.
Special attention is paid to the demolition of reed-frame houses and buildings located on tectonic faults to increase seismic safety.
Relocation and demolition of buildings will be carried out only with the consent of all owners.
For citizens with special needs, relocation to the ground floors or houses equipped with elevators and ramps providing barrier-free access is provided.
The renovation program will allow updating the housing stock, taking into account increased seismic safety.
