As the New Year approaches, Panfilov Street in Almaty has turned into a real winter bazaar filled with the scent of pine needles and a festive atmosphere. The Christmas Tree Fair has become a popular place among the townspeople, where everyone can choose the perfect Christmas tree for their home.
At the fair, the buyer is presented with a wide range of products: from fluffy tall fir trees to miniature trees in pots.
– I buy a Christmas tree at the bazaar every year, but this year I decided to buy it here because the prices are the same. We walk with the children, choose the fluffiest tree, taste gingerbread and take pictures at the glowing installations. Such an atmosphere that even fatigue goes away, but the cold does not bother. It already feels like the New Year is very close," Yerlan Kasimov shares his impressions.
Here you can buy both classic coniferous trees and designer Christmas trees decorated with snow spraying. Visiting the fair, the townspeople celebrate the richness of the assortment.
– My friends and I came just to watch, but we couldn't resist and bought a Christmas tree, decorations and garlands. Now we're going to get together, dress her up and drink cocoa. It's so beautiful and cozy here that I don't want to leave. I am sure that this fair has become one of the best places in the city," said student Alina Abildaeva.
The fair is mesmerizing with decorations: garlands, sparkling lights, improvised photo zones – all this creates a magical mood. Snow-covered sleighs, glowing snowmen and reindeer figures are especially pleasing to children.
