The traditional New Year's electric train, decorated in a winter holiday theme, was launched on routes No. 6803/6804 "Astana-Atbasar" and No.7507/7508 "Astana-Kokshetau", the official website of the capital's akimat reports with reference to JSC Passenger Transportation.
It is noted that this year's New Year's electric train has a bright design that conveys the atmosphere of the winter landscape: the cars are decorated with snow-white snowflakes and images of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, creating a festive mood even before boarding. Inside the carriage, the walls are decorated with Christmas Tree toys, garlands and snowflakes.
For small passengers, there is a special mailbox where you can leave a letter to Santa Claus with your most cherished wishes. A buffet with fresh pastries, snacks and drinks is also provided for the convenience of passengers.
"The train has been launched in two directions so that more passengers can ride on the New Year's electric train. It will run to Atbasar on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, and to Kokshetau on Saturdays and Sundays, departing from Astana from Nurly Zhol and Astana—1 railway stations," the company said.
