Today, the Presidential Christmas tree "Welcome, New Year!" was held in Taldykorgan, during which the akim of the Zhetisu region, Beibit Isabayev, congratulated 200 children from different parts of the region, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
Children from single-parent, large and low-income families, orphans, children with special needs, as well as those who have achieved success in studies, sports, creativity and other fields were invited to the festive event held at the Zhastar Sports Palace.
The celebration began with a dance flash mob of children's art groups, and then a congratulatory letter from the President of the country was shown on the big screen.
- Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulates you and expresses his best wishes. You are the future of our country and we have high hopes for you. I know that you have all done a good job this year, because the best students, the most active and talented children are invited to this Christmas tree. All of you have received good grades throughout the year, won contests and competitions. Knowledge is the first step to success, and our country has created all the conditions for obtaining a high–quality education. I sincerely wish you a happy New year. I wish you good health, academic success and may your dreams come true! – said B. Issabaev.
Then, during the theatrical performance, the head of the region, together with Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, lit a New Year's tree for the children, took part in a festive round dance and presented all the children with New Year's gifts on behalf of the President of the country. Everyone was given greeting cards, tablets, backpacks and New Year's bags.
Performances by animators, clowns, heroes of famous fairy tales and animated films gave a special atmosphere to the holiday. Various fun contests were also organized, and at the end of the festive event, various treats and sweets were prepared for the children.
The guys who came to today's celebration shared their mood.
- I'm studying for A's. We have a big family, 8 girls at home, we live together. Today's Presidential Christmas Tree is a lot of fun. I wish all my friends a Happy New Year," said Aisha Alzhanbek, a student at the Baskunshi village school in Panfilov district.
- I really enjoyed today's holiday. I congratulated everyone. We were given a tablet for the New Year. Today's holiday has given us a good mood," said Lyudmila Kim, a pupil of the Aynalayyn orphanage.
- I am the winner of the Olympiads "Altyn saqa", "Akbota", "Kangaroo". I was happy to come to today's celebration. Together with Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden, and various fairy-tale characters, we sang, danced, played games, and celebrated the New Year in high spirits," said Saken Abilmansur, a 4th grade student at Gymnasium No. 16 in Taldykorgan.
