In the Zhetisu region, 57 families from socially vulnerable categories of the population received housing. In particular, the keys to 37 new apartments were handed over in Taldykorgan, and 20 individual residential buildings in the city of Sarkan, the press service of the regional akim Zhetisu reports.
According to the Governor's office of the Sarkan district, in recent years, the district center has been paying great attention to the issue of housing construction.
- In 2022, a 5-storey 50-apartment building was commissioned for citizens on the housing waiting list, and last year a 20-apartment two-storey residential building was commissioned in the Bolashak microdistrict. In addition, 24 residential buildings were purchased and transferred for citizens from socially vulnerable segments of the district's population. On the eve of the New Year holidays, the keys to 20 houses were handed over, in addition, 30 more residential buildings of this type will be completed and put into operation in the near future," Asset Kanapiyanov, head of the Department of Housing and Communal Services, highways, passenger transport and Housing Inspection of the Sarkan district, said.
Among those who have received their own housing are orphans, families raising a child with a disability, citizens with disabilities, mothers with many children, single-parent families equated to veterans of the Great Patriotic War and others.
Tolkyn Mantekova, a resident of Sarkan, a mother with many children, is one of those who were lucky enough to celebrate a housewarming party on the eve of the New Year.:
- I have been waiting in line for housing as a mother of many children since 2019. And so, on the eve of the New Year's Eve holidays, we found our own place. The house, issued by the state, is spacious, comfortable and cozy. My children are especially happy," the mother of many children said, not hiding her joy.
Zhanar Bolatbekova, who received a new apartment in the regional center of Taldykorgan in the Kulager microdistrict, also shared her impressions.
- Finally we got our long-awaited accommodation. We are glad that we have a new apartment that is comfortable for our disabled child. After waiting in line for more than 10 years, we waited for this joyful day. For which I express my sincere gratitude to all those involved," said Zh. Bolatbekova.
In general, 7.6 billion tenge has been allocated for housing construction in the Zhetisu region this year. These funds were used for the construction of 56 multi-storey and 214 individual residential buildings. In addition, 866 apartments were purchased for socially vulnerable segments of the population, for which 15.9 billion tenge was allocated.
