A festive New Year's holiday was held in Semey for 150 children of the Abai region, organized by the akimat of the region. The event brought together young participants from all over the region, including cities, districts, specialized boarding schools and institutions for orphaned children.
Among the invited guests are children aged 9 to 13 years old, who belong to various social categories. These are orphans, children left without parental care, children from low-income and large families, as well as schoolchildren with special educational needs. In addition, the guests included gifted children who had achieved significant success in their studies, sports, creativity or social life.
"New Year is a time of hope, bright plans and faith in the best. Comfortable schools, modern playgrounds and leisure centers are being created in our region. May all your achievements in the past year become motivation for new successes. I wish you good health, joyful days and a great vacation. Happy New Year! Zhana zhyl kutty bolsyn!", the head of the region congratulated the children.
Each child received a special gift – a cash certificate in the amount of 100,000 tenge, as well as a sweet set and souvenirs.
