At the 9th Asian Winter Games, the Kazakh national team won a silver medal in the 2000-meter short track medley relay, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.

As part of the team, athletes from Astana - Adil Galiakhmetov and Yermek Malika - performed and contributed to the prize.

Short track competitions were held in Harbin as part of the 9th Asian Winter Games. In the quarterfinals of the 2000-meter medley relay, the Kazakh team came first, ahead of the Japanese and Taipei teams, finishing in 2:45.431.

In the semifinals, our athletes took second place and qualified for the final.

In the final, the Kazakh team won the silver medal of the Asian Games and took second place.
