The Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Committee of the Ministry of Health regularly monitored 94 infections, and in 2024 the epidemiological situation for most infectious diseases remained stable, noted the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Kazakhstan Sarkhat Beisenova at an expanded meeting of the Board of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the end of last year.

She noted that no cases were registered for 16 nosologies. A reduction in 40 infections was achieved.
The overall level of coverage with preventive vaccinations was achieved for all types of vaccines (95.3%).

Conducting routine and supplementary vaccinations within the framework of the national vaccination calendar made it possible to achieve a reduction in the incidence of infections such as measles and whooping cough.
