From January 1, 2025, an electronic format of personal medical records (sanitary records) has been introduced in Kazakhstan. Citizens can now receive medical examination results and data on their sanitary record through the “E-Densaulyk” service in the egov mobile application, which will significantly reduce the time for medical examination and eliminate the need to visit a therapist again. When the sanitary booklet is ready, citizens will receive an SMS notification from 1414.
Benefits for employers
Employers can check the relevance of their employees' medical booklets through the free labor resource portal hr.enbek.kz, which simplifies monitoring compliance with sanitary standards and prevents possible errors.
Who is required to receive a medical booklet?
The electronic system covers 15 categories of employees, including employees of public catering, pharmacies, sanatoriums, as well as service workers and medical workers. Regular medical examinations for these categories are carried out once a year or once every six months.
By transferring personal medical booklets to electronic format, the process of checking them has become easier and faster for citizens and employers.
As previously reported, for the convenience of citizens, 8 types of medical certificates, including medical booklets and hospital sheets, will be transferred from paper to electronic format.
