TURKESTAN STUDENTS LEARNED ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIES TO OBTAIN A FOREIGN DIPLOMA IN OUR COUNTRY

The "Study in Kazakhstan" exhibition was held for high school graduates from the Turkestan region. 20 branches of the world's leading universities in Kazakhstan participated in the event, organized at Akhmet Yassawi University, providing comprehensive information to a total of about 10 thousand students.

Students of grades 9-11 and their parents actively participated in the exhibition, which provided new opportunities for Kazakhstani youth to receive education at an international level. Applicants from remote and nearby regions of Turkestan region, as well as the cities of Turkestan and Kentau, received fresh information about educational programs, academic opportunities and study conditions of universities.

Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ruslan Emelbayev:

“The exhibition that began on January 29 in Karaganda continued in Turkestan. “Study in Kazakhstan” offers Kazakhstani applicants the opportunity to study in their own country, receive education in accordance with international standards and receive an international-level diploma. In 2022-2024, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan established 23 strategic partnerships. As a result, branches and double-degree programs of 23 foreign universities were launched in Kazakhstan,” he said.

The “Study in Kazakhstan” exhibition is being implemented on the instructions of the Head of State and contributes to expanding the educational opportunities of Kazakhstani students and increasing their competitiveness in the global labor market. The exhibition, which offers applicants the opportunity to enter branches of foreign universities, will continue in Kyzylorda.
