In the first nine months of 2024, the Government for Citizens State Corporation provided over 11 million public services. Over 5 million more services were received through self-service sectors in PSC. As part of the strategy to increase the availability and quality of public services, the State Corporation is actively implementing digital technologies, simplifying the process of obtaining documents and interacting with government agencies.
The state Corporation is implementing a set of digital projects aimed at simplifying and improving public services. One of the most significant projects of the State Corporation was the documentation terminal, launched last year. With its help, residents of Kazakhstan can apply for a passport or identity card in less than five minutes. Since the beginning of 2024, more than 50,000 people have already used the service: 37,585 in Astana, 12,476 in Almaty and 540 in Kokshetau.
The state Corporation is also actively developing the PSC mobile application, which allows citizens to receive public services remotely. At the moment, 79 types of services are available in it, and 132,890 public services have already been provided with its help, as well as more than 400,000 video consultations have been conducted by PSC operators.
"Digitalization of public services makes it possible to make them accessible and fast for citizens. Today, many procedures, including applying for a passport, take only a few minutes. We intend to further modernize our services and implement IT solutions to meet the expectations of citizens," said Arman Kenzhegaliev, Chairman of the Board of the Government for Citizens State Corporation.
It should be noted that among the key digital solutions of the State Corporation are also:
- Unified State Cadastre of Real Estate (EGKN). Now the land deed and the technical passport are combined into a single cadastral passport, the time for reviewing documents has been reduced from one year to 30 days, and the possibility of online monitoring of document processing stages has been introduced;
- For the convenience and safety of citizens, a service has been developed to send notifications on registration, change and termination of real estate rights to your personal account on the e-government portal. More than 5.7 million notifications have been sent since the beginning of the year;
- As part of digitalization, the corporation has also launched projects to automate services in the field of social protection and labor;
- as well as other solutions.
It should be noted that the State Corporation plans to further develop digital projects so that every resident of Kazakhstan can receive the necessary services at any time and anywhere.
