Since the beginning of the school year, the testing of the DosbolLIKE anti-bullying program aimed at creating a safe and supportive environment for schoolchildren has continued in nine regions of the country. About 70 thousand students and more than 5 thousand teachers and employees of educational organizations participate in it. All teachers and school administrations have completed instructional and methodological seminars for the successful implementation of the program.
The project participants will receive training and practical measures to prevent and identify the causes of conflicts. There are also activities for parents explaining the goals and methods of the DosbolLIKE program.
"The DosbolLIKE program is aimed at creating a favorable atmosphere in schools where every child feels safe. The support provided to teachers helps to create a culture of respectful communication and mutual assistance among students. It is expected that the success of the pilot project will become the basis for its further implementation throughout the country," said Nasymzhan Ospanova, Chairman of the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The program includes methodological support for teachers, which contributes to creating a friendly school environment, improving the climate and reducing bullying. Also, on the eve of the National Scientific and Practical Institute of Child Welfare "Orken" under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a competition to create a visual style of the DosbolLIKE program. 80 works in various categories participated in the competition, demonstrating a high level of creativity and understanding of the goals of the program. Prizes were awarded to the authors of the best works.
The pilot program is being implemented in 50 schools in the regions: Abai, Zhetisu, Ulytau, Atyrau, Almaty, Zhambyl, Turkestan, as well as in the cities of Astana and Almaty. The testing will last until the end of the academic year in order to assess the effectiveness of the program and prepare for its further implementation in educational institutions in Kazakhstan.
