Today, the opening ceremony of the Orhun Medical Center was held in Kyzylorda with the participation of the regional governor Nurlybek Nalibayev, Minister of Health Akmaral Alnazarova, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alibek Kuantyrov, deputies of the Mazhilis of Parliament Murat Abenov, Markhabat Zhaimbetov, Murat Ergeshbayev, first heads of law enforcement agencies, deputies of the regional maslikhat, representatives of the intelligentsia, and veterans.
In his speech, the head of the region highlighted the region's achievements in the field of healthcare.
"Our head of state, Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich, has always paid special attention to the sector, saying, "If the nation is healthy, society will develop sustainably." In the Syr region, comprehensive measures are being taken to increase the population's access to medical services and further improve infrastructure.
Today, we are gathered with you at the opening of the Orhun Medical Center, a facility of great importance for our region. The main focus of the center is high-tech diagnostics, combining positron emission tomography and computed tomography.
This project, worth 4 billion tenge, will allow for early detection of oncological diseases, assessment of the prevalence of the disease, and monitoring of the effectiveness of treatment. Our residents will now receive quality medical services locally, without having to travel to Astana, Almaty, or abroad.

Akmaral Alnazarova and Alibek Kuantyrov delivered speeches at the opening ceremony, and industry veteran Abdulla Shulenbayev blessed the event. Citizens who contributed to the development of the region's healthcare sector were awarded letters of gratitude from the regional akim.
It is worth noting that the annual design capacity of the medical center is quite high. It will perform 3,500 positron emission tomography and computed tomography examinations per year. In addition, it has the capacity to perform 16,000 magnetic resonance imaging, 20,000 computed tomography, 25,000 X-ray examinations, and 10,000 mammograms.
​The center in Kyzylorda is the second stage of Orhun Medical's project aimed at developing high-tech oncological care in the regions of Kazakhstan. It also serves residents of Ulytau, Turkestan, and Aktobe. In the first stage, a similar center was launched in Aktau. Research is carried out within the framework of the guaranteed volume of free medical care.
In addition, the medical center will offer MRI, CT, X-ray, mammography, ultrasound diagnostics, consultations with specialized specialists, laboratory tests, and operating rooms.
