Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan M. Oshurbayev took part in a side event at COP29 in Baku dedicated to the climatic stability of mountain regions.
The event, organized by the Kyrgyz Republic and the OSCE, brought together representatives of Central Asia to discuss the challenges of climate change, including melting glaciers and threats to water security.
The Vice Minister stressed the importance of regional cooperation for the conservation of mountain ecosystems and sustainable development.
