The exercises began with the inspection of special equipment. In the special forces of educational institutions of the Zhanaarkinsky district of the Ulytau region, firefighting officers, police units, road organizations ensuring safety on highways, military rescue services and the Disaster Medicine Center lined up.
The event was attended by 32 technical units and 100 specialists. It discussed measures to evacuate victims of natural hazards, clear the roadway, search for lost people, heating and placement of medical and psychological assistance points.
Training sessions were organized at a heating boiler house in Zhanaarka district, on a highway oriented to the city of Karaganda near the village of Zhanaarka. Rescuers demonstrated actions to put the downed boiler in order as soon as possible, search for a missing shepherd in the steppe, rescue people from a car in an accident, and evacuate people from a broken bus on the road.
In total, more than 4 tactical and special exercises were held in the region, where the work of field control points was demonstrated: headquarters, medical centers, food, heating and psychological assistance points were deployed.
The course of the exercises of the command staff was inspected by the acting Head of the Emergency Department, Ch. Samiev, deputy akim of the region Ulytau Zh. Nupirov.
