As part of a working detour of the Bostandyk district, Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev got acquainted with the reconstruction of gas supply networks from Zharokova Street along Bukhar Zhyrau Street to the Esentai River. An underground medium-pressure gas pipeline with a length of 1,766.9 cubic meters was commissioned in 1972 and has already served its 40-year regulatory period. The gas pipeline had damage to the insulation coating and through-corrosion damage to the pipe. To ensure safe operation and reliable operation of the gas supply system, an urgent replacement of the gas pipeline was required.

In September of this year, construction and installation works began on the initiative of the mayor of the city within the framework of the republican program "Tariff in exchange for investments", which will last until the end of the year. The laying of the gas pipeline runs along the southern side of Bukhar Zhyrau Boulevard along the roadway along the curbs. The width of the pit is from 0.8 to 1 m.
After completion of the construction work, about 3.5 thousand subscribers will be provided with stable gas supply.
