In the period from November 20 to 22, the Ushkempirov Sports Complex in Astana hosted the final of the World Cup in hand-to-hand combat, which brought together more than 200 athletes from 15 countries (Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Morocco, India, etc.).
According to the results of this competition, the members of the Ministry of Emergency Situations team consisting of 1 man and 9 women won 6 bronze, 2 silver and 2 gold medals in the following disciplines:
In the discipline of "Self-defense":
2nd place in the 50 kg weight category Zhumadieva Akerke (Emergency department of Kyzylorda region);
3rd place in the 50 kg weight category Asylbekova Sagynysh (DCH g. Astana);
3rd place in the 70 kg weight category Chebotareva Maria (Emergency department of Karaganda region);
3rd place in the 90 kg weight category Sargazin Ilyas (Emergency department of Akmola region).
In the discipline of "Duel":
1st place in the super absolute weight category Zhumataeva Talshyn
(Emergency department of the Abai region);
1st place in the 53 kg weight category Larionova Emilia (Emergency department of Atyrau region);
2nd place in the weight category +70 kg Berkinbayeva Aruzhan (Emergency department of Turkestan region);
3rd place in the weight category 48 kg Asylbekova Sagynysh (DCH g. Astana);
3rd place in the weight category 64 kg Chebotareva Maria (Emergency department of Karaganda region);
3rd place in the weight category up to 70 kg Zhumatayeva Talshyn (Emergency department of the Abai region).
The champions and prize-winners of the tournament were awarded with cups and prizes of the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations as part of the national team of the departmental sports club "Batyr team" successfully represent the Ministry at international tournaments today.
