The branch of Kazvodkhoz in the Turkestan region has restored the spillway of the Torlan reservoir. The facility is intended for the water supply of adjacent territories. The reservoir's capacity is 1.9 million m3. An underground pipeline with a length of 21 km has also been laid from the reservoir to the village of Sholakkorgan.
Restoration will make it possible to direct flood water to a safer area.
