Mayor of Astana Zhenis Kassymbek announced the opening of the next school on his Instagram page, the official website of the capital's mayor's office reports.
"The seventeenth new school has been opened in Astana. This is considered an absolute record for the capital!
The new educational institution, located at 4/1 kasym Kaisenov Street, was built within the framework of the National Project" comfortable school". The school is equipped with everything you need for the convenience of students.
Within the framework of the National Project of the head of state "comfortable school", 10 new schools have been built and opened their doors in the capital. Within the framework of this national project, 24 schools of a new format will be built in the period from 2024 to 2025. These schools themselves will open about 90 thousand student places in two shifts.
We plan to open several more schools by the end of the year. Thus, the problem of three-shift training of 4 more schools will be solved, as well as the difficulty of 3 high-density schools.
We are also preparing for the coming years. In 2025, we plan to build and put into operation more than 20 schools. We will also attract private investment in the construction of educational institutions," Zhenis Kassymbek wrote.
