As part of the working trip, Deputy akim of the region Zhasulan Sarsebayev, together with the heads of departments, visited the city of Kurchatov. During the trip, the delegation got acquainted with the state of socially significant facilities and the progress of construction work in the city.
The recreation center "Bereg" became one of the first points of the visit. It requires repairs to the kitchen, showers and interiors of the houses. In the near future, it is planned to cover the houses with moisture-proof material and insulation to increase their durability.
The delegation inspected the urban swimming pool with an area of 485.3 sq. m. The facility, built at the expense of sponsors, needs to repair the ventilation system. The POI has already been developed, and the budget request is included in the plan for 2025. The kindergarten with 120 places has become an important stage in increasing the accessibility of preschool education. After the reconstruction was completed, the facility was put into operation on June 3 of this year. However, the issue of priority has not yet been fully resolved, and additional jobs have not been created at this stage. During the working trip, options for solving problematic issues related to the launch of a kindergarten were considered. The implementation of the planned goals will become possible after the completion of the court proceedings.
An important part of the visit was also a visit to the Kurchatov Youth Sports School, which has been successfully operating since 1971. The school building has an area of 1768 sq. m. The university has four sports halls, where 17 coaches work and many young athletes train. The Youth Sports School plays a key role in educating the younger generation, promoting a healthy lifestyle and training high-level athletes capable of representing Kazakhstan on the international stage. The work of the sports school is aimed at the comprehensive development of children and adolescents, strengthening their health and preparing for future achievements in sports.
Following the results of the working trip, it was noted that Kurchatov continues to develop, but requires additional investments to improve infrastructure. Deputy Akim Zhasulan Sarsebayev instructed the heads of departments to provide support in solving key tasks in order to improve the quality of life of the population and ensure the development of the district.
