The regional stage of the Abai Regional FIRST Championship 2024 was held in the region. 25 teams and 160 participants from Astana, Almaty, as well as Akmola and Zhetysu regions and Abai region took part in the competition. The championship was held in three directions: FLL Explore, FLL Challenge and FIRST Tech Challenge.
Following the results of the championship, several teams received the right to represent Kazakhstan at the international level.
The teams "Alash", "Region18", "Rai", "Tengri" will compete in the Central Asian Championship. In the direction of the FLL Challenge, the teams "2 Ro Álemi" and NIS will represent the region at the competitions. In the Explore direction, the teams of Gymnasium No. 5 and BilKids received permits for the Central Asian Championship.
