On November 24, the grand opening of a new fire station No. 10 took place in the village of Miyaly in the Kyzylkoginsky district of Atyrau region. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Genghis Arinov, Akim of Atyrau region Serik Shapkenov and Head of the Emergency Department Nurlan Zhanabayev.
The opening of the new fire station was an important event for the region, marked by a significant contribution to improving the security system. The Head of the Department stressed that the creation and equipping of the new facility became possible thanks to the support of the President of Kazakhstan and the systemic reforms carried out by the Ministry.
"On the eve of the Rescuer's Day in Astana, a new unique depot was presented to the President. Then I promised the Head of State that firefighters would have the same conditions in rural areas. Therefore, today the Ministry places a priority emphasis on villages.
Now our rural fire departments are equipped with the most modern equipment. At the same time, social and living conditions for employees are improving. There is an active repair and modernization of our facilities. This year, the Atyrau garrison received new equipment that will allow it to respond promptly to emergencies. I am sure that this fire station will become a model of safety for rural residents. The Ministry places special emphasis on the village," the minister said.
Chingis Arinov also expressed gratitude to the governor of the region Serik Shapkenov for his active work on the development of the infrastructure of the rescue services of the region, and the akim, in turn, thanked the firefighters and rescuers for their dedication and efficiency in emergency situations.
The new fire station No. 10, built at the expense of the local budget, is equipped with everything necessary for effective operation: five units of modern fire and rescue equipment, a hangar, a communication point, rooms for psychological relief and recreation, as well as two field trips for rapid response. The unit employs 58 employees who are provided with a new uniform.
There are 14 fire stations in the region. The opening of the new part was a vivid example of constant work to improve the security system in Kazakhstan and strengthen the protection of citizens from emergency situations.
"The opening of this fire station is a significant step in improving the level of safety for both rural residents and the economy of the region as a whole. We are confident that the new part will become a reliable support in ensuring security," said Akim of the region Serik Shapkenov.
In addition, as part of improving preparedness to respond to accidents, since the beginning of the year, the fleet of the Department of Emergency Situations of Atyrau region has been replenished with 56 modern cars.
