From November 25 to December 1 of this year, the 5th round of negotiations of the Intergovernmental Commission on the Discussion of an international Legally Binding treaty on Combating environmental pollution, including the marine Environment, by plastic Waste is taking place in Busan, Republic of Korea.
At this event, the Kazakh delegation, consisting of representatives of the Ministries of Ecology and Natural Resources, Energy and industry associations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is headed by Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Zh. Aliev.
The aim of the negotiations is to develop effective mechanisms to combat plastic pollution, which poses a serious threat to ecosystems and human health around the world.
