The team of Akmola rural school became the winner at the World Robotics Championship in Italy

The other day, the Fibonacci International Robot Olympiad, one of the largest competitions uniting robotics enthusiasts from all over the world, was held in Rome, the capital of Italy. Representatives from 28 countries took part in the competition. The team of the Abylaikhan school of the village of Kyzylagash from the Burabai district became the world champion.
Our country was represented at the championship by Zhenis Didar, Kappasov Didar, Kadirbai Nurali. Team leader, computer science teacher Nurzhan Abilzhanov.
The competitions were held in 14 categories. 5 teams from the same state could participate in one category. As a result, the teams from Kazakhstan took three places. Of these, the team of the Akmola rural school took 1st place in the "Lego Line Following" category.
"We are grateful to our teachers for participating in international competitions, we were able to defend the honor of the country, achieved high results and come back with a victory!" the young Burabais shared.
Recall that the team was selected at the Republican stage and showed the best result at the Asian Championship, which was held in Antalya, Turkey, having received the right to participate in an international competition.
By the way, in the Akmola region, more than 200 schools are equipped with classrooms and robotics elements and there are more than 80 robotics clubs.
