The JOLTAP project continues to work in Astana, within the framework of which Astana residents can receive free training in relevant professions. One of the graduates of the project, Rabiga Mahmut, told how new knowledge allows to increase the level of professionalism and the cost of services, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
Rabiga has been working as an SMM specialist for several years, but her projects were on a modest budget. According to her, she felt a lack of competence.
"As an SMM specialist before the course, I took small projects from friends for a small fee. I helped my parents promote their services. For professional growth, I needed additional knowledge," said the graduate of the project.
Her sister, who studied mobilography as part of the project, told her about the JOLTAP program.
"At the beginning, I had doubts: the quality of free education often raises questions. But my sister convinced me, assuring me that the educational process is clear, understandable and systematic. Then I decided to give it a try and signed up for a course. First by SMM, and then by targeted advertising. At that time, I had a small online store, and advertising did not bring the desired results, so I wanted to learn how to customize advertising on my own in order to increase the cost effectiveness of promotion," she shares.
The graduate noted that it is important for an SMM specialist to follow trends and constantly learn new things.
"I didn't have any systematic knowledge about how to run projects before. After the course, a clear structure appeared. The teacher explained and patiently explained and supported us in the learning process. These courses have given me confidence that I lacked before," the graduate noted.
According to her, during the courses she also managed to learn how to set up a target and work on mistakes.
"I studied targeting on my own for many years, but I was not sure that I was launching ads correctly. As a result, the money went away just like that. During the courses, I learned how to set up a target correctly, what mistakes are made, and how to use the budget effectively. It turned out to be especially useful to study the pitfalls in targeted advertising," Rabiga noted.
After completing the courses, Rabiga continues her work as an SMM specialist, but now with a new body of knowledge. She managed to raise the price of her services, as she became an advanced specialist who not only creates content, but also sets up targeted advertising.
"As a result of the courses, I have not only a certificate, but also real knowledge that I successfully apply every day. This allowed us to cooperate with larger projects and increase revenue," she shared.
The graduate highly appreciated the availability of the JOLTAP project.
"I can say that this is one of the best projects in Kazakhstan. Qualified specialists ensure the high quality and relevance of the material. Free education allows everyone to gain knowledge, regardless of their financial situation. Graduates have additional career opportunities. I recommend these courses to all my friends and acquaintances," the graduate concluded.
It should be noted that the short-term Freelance Mumkindik program for training in digital professions is available only for residents of Astana aged 18 to 50 years. Training within the framework of the JOLTAP project is provided free of charge. Registration for training takes place in the modular points of "Barshaga mumkindik".
