Today, a meeting of the district's assets was held in Alga, at which the head of the region, Askhat Shakharov, introduced the new akim of the Alginsky district.
Aslanbek Shuinshaliyev was appointed to this position. Askhat Shakharov wished good luck to the new akim of the district and set him tasks for the socio-economic development of the Alginsky district.
As the governor of the region noted, the economy in the region is steadily developing, but for further progress it is necessary to focus on the diversification of industries, modernization of infrastructure and active attraction of investments.
"The economy of the Alginsky district demonstrates stable development, but the share of the manufacturing industry is only 1.1%. The volume of investments in fixed assets over the past three years amounted to 179.8 billion tenge, of which the district accounts for only 0.04%. In order to stimulate the growth of investments in the processing and mining industries, it is necessary to attract investors and create favorable conditions. It is planned to build a cement production plant in the district on the basis of "Aqtobecem" LLP with an investment volume of 70 billion tenge, which will provide 385 jobs. Only two enterprises, introduced in 2015 and 2017, are functioning in the Algifunction industrial zone, and there have been no new investments or enterprises over the past five years. It is necessary to intensify work on attracting new projects, using the potential of the industrial zone," Askhat Shakharov outlined the primary tasks for the new akim of the district.
In addition, the head of the region instructed to develop poultry farming, crop production, fish and processing farms in order to ensure the food security of the region. Using the opportunities of the district, it is necessary to create favorable conditions for the development of tourism. Separate instructions were given to improve the quality of roads in the area and improve sanitary cleanliness.
"It is necessary to resolve the issue of financing for 2025 to complete infrastructure projects, including the Alga-Tokmansai highway, the bridge along the Alga-Karabulak road and the access road to the village of Taldysai. An acute problem is associated with waste from a former chemical plant: 17 types of hazardous waste weighing 2.6 million tons have been identified. It is necessary to clear the territory, protect it, and protect the population," the mayor emphasized the main areas of work.
The new akim of the Alginsky district expressed his readiness to fulfill all the tasks set and direct efforts to develop the economic potential of the district.
In turn, the former akim of the district Nurbol Yerzhanov expressed gratitude for the trust and support provided during his work, and also wished the new akim of the district success and fruitful work for the benefit of the development of the region.
