More than 2 million hectares of land were returned to state ownership in 2024
26.11.2024 10:06:13 3630Since the beginning of 2024, the Committee on Land Management of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan has conducted more than 1,748 unscheduled inspections on a total area of 2.8 million hectares. As a result of the inspections, 1,342 orders were issued to eliminate violations of land legislation on an area of 2.2 million hectares.
On the basis of previously issued regulations, the development of 311.3 thousand hectares of agricultural land has begun. Legal proceedings are underway to seize unused land on an area of 200.4 thousand hectares.
As part of the state control over the legality of the decisions taken by the Ministry of Agriculture, 875 illegal decisions on the provision of agricultural land on an area of 368.5 thousand hectares were identified, of which 84 decisions have already been canceled. The main violations are related to circumvention of competitive procedures and illegal distribution of public pastures.
As a result of the work done since the beginning of the year, more than 2 million hectares of land have been returned to state ownership, which made it possible to fulfill the 2024 plan ahead of schedule.
