Control and inspection activities
The State Environmental Inspectorate conducted 1001 inspections. 2620 violations were revealed, 1664 orders were issued, 2201 fines were imposed for a total amount of 82.8 billion tenge.
Provision of public services
In 2024, 13,148 public services were provided within the framework of environmental regulation.
When considering applications, special attention is paid to the introduction of the best available technologies, reducing emissions into the environment, as well as environmental safety in the implementation of a particular economic activity.
Implementation of an automated emission monitoring system (AFM)
91 enterprises have been identified that are required to install an automated emissions monitoring system by the end of 2024. To date, 69 enterprises have installed AFM.
Elimination of unauthorized landfills
This year, according to space monitoring data, 4,887 unauthorized landfills have been identified, of which 4,310, or 91%, have been eliminated.
For failure to take response measures to prevent the formation of spontaneous landfills, 164 officials of local executive bodies were brought to administrative responsibility for a total amount of 9.3 million tenge.
For the late installation of AFM in the framework of inspections, 26 enterprises were brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine in the amount of 15.5 million tenge, and orders were issued to eliminate violations.
