By the end of the year, more than 200 thousand student places have been created in the country. Of these, 23 facilities are funded by the Educational Infrastructure Support Fund. There are 126 schools at the expense of the republican and local budgets, as well as attracting investments.
Unprecedented measures to build schools have significantly reduced the existing problems with three shifts. Along with this, 254 secondary educational institutions were overhauled, and 1,621 modern classrooms for 967 schools were purchased. The modernization of 1,000 rural schools has been carried out. The technical equipment of security systems of more than 10 thousand educational organizations has been improved.
On behalf of the Head of State, comprehensive work has been carried out to accelerate the digitalization of education. By the end of 2024, the Internet speed has been increased from 19% to 90% of schools. The indicator of high-quality Internet in Kazakhstani schools has been increased 3 times. At the same time, 100% of school textbooks have been digitized and are available on 11 platforms.
A pilot project "Social Wallet" is being implemented in 215 schools in Astana, Mangystau, Akmola and West Kazakhstan regions for free meals for children of the relevant categories.
