Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov held a reporting meeting with residents of Burabay district, where key issues of socio-economic development of the region were discussed.
Burabai district continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading tourist centers in Kazakhstan. As part of the execution of the President's instructions, the resort development zones have been identified, where Shchuchinsk and Burabai will become centers of family recreation and entertainment. The tourist infrastructure complex will be supplemented by modern entertainment theme parks, water parks, visitor centers and other facilities.
"To increase the transport accessibility of the resort, work is underway on the development of small aircraft and the organization of sightseeing helicopter excursions. Creating comfortable conditions for tourists remains an important task," Marat Akhmetzhanov said.
To ensure high-quality cellular communication, 5 antenna-mast structures have been installed. Also, for the safety of tourists, a system of 100 "smart" video surveillance cameras will be introduced, modular fire depots and water rescue stations will be built.
The industry of the district accounts for more than 13% of the total production of the region. The leading enterprises are RG Gold LLP and RG Processing, specializing in gold mining and processing.
A positive example is demonstrated by the KazBeef Group of companies, which produces full-cycle, export-oriented products. In this regard, the governor of the region stressed the need to develop the production of finished food products and semi-finished products for a sustainable market, including the capital Astana.
In agriculture, the district doubled the grain harvest - 223 thousand tons with a yield of 17 kg/ha. The emphasis is on increasing the area for oilseeds and forage crops, which demonstrate a steady increase in demand and prices. Animal husbandry is also actively developing, including the dairy sector. Among the leading producers are Aina Dairy Farm LLP, KH Koyandy Agro and others. There are 4 meat processing enterprises operating in the processing industry
Since the beginning of the year, 11 investment projects have been implemented in the district, 134 jobs have been created. By the end of the year, it is planned to complete 6 more projects, which will provide 120 new jobs. Work is underway with investors on the development of biogas production - the district has a raw material base for the implementation of such projects.
Support for small and medium-sized businesses remains an important area. 78 projects have been implemented within the framework of the state program. In addition, a mechanism for creating small industrial zones is being introduced in the district, which will allow entrepreneurs to gain access to ready-made production sites.
The governor of the region paid special attention to improving the infrastructure of the district. Among the key projects are the repair of the Shchuchinsk-Nikolaevka highway, the construction of a road around Lake Tekekol and the development of electricity supply. A lot of work is being done to provide high-quality drinking water, as well as to modernize educational, health and cultural facilities.
"On the part of the state, the social and infrastructural issues of the district are being resolved systematically. For the successful development of the region, it is necessary to work on increasing the revenue side of the district budget, as well as an integrated approach that includes business support and active investment attraction. The use of tourism and industrial potential will improve the quality of life of all residents of the district," said Marat Akhmetzhanov.
At the meeting, Marat Akhmetzhanov awarded the residents of the district who contributed to the development of the region with the badge "Akmola – enbek ozaty" with monetary certificates, the medal "100 years of S.K.
