The Chairman of the Committee on Civil Defense and Military Units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Arman Zarlykovich Kaliev, visited the Karaganda garrison on a working trip.
The Major General familiarized himself with the material and technical base of military unit 52859, emergency response units, visited a specialized fire station, a rescue station of the OSO, met with the personnel of the Department's staff.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee was informed of the existing problematic issues of material security, and long-term plans for the development of the garrison were reported.
The Chairman of the Committee noted the need to equip the emergency forces and the military unit with modern equipment and equipment, gave specific instructions on the organization of activities.
"Special attention is paid to the modernization of the technical base, the introduction of new technologies and the improvement of the professionalism of our employees. Only through joint efforts can we achieve a high level of readiness of the region for possible challenges," Arman Kaliyev said.
