An employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations set an Asian record

The open championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in power sports was held in Shymkent from November 23 to 28.
937 people from all over the Republic competed in the championship.
The teacher of the Department of Fire and Rescue and Physical Training of the Malik Gabdullin Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major of Civil Protection Romashchenko Vitaly Vadimovich, took part in this sports competition.
The university employee won 6 gold medals in 6 disciplines in the weight category up to 100kg.
At these competitions, Vitaly Romashchenko fulfilled the standard of a master of sports of international class, and also set a record for Kazakhstan, Asia in the pull-up on the crossbar in the weight category up to 100 kg.
"This award for a sporting achievement means a lot to me. It symbolizes years of hard work and discipline. I am proud that I was able to achieve such a result, and I am grateful to the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and everyone who supported me along the way. It inspires us to move on and sets even higher goals for ourselves," Vitaly Romashchenko said.
