Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev held a meeting with teachers from remote villages of the country. At the event, the participants summarized the republican project "Rural School - Quality Platform" and discussed topical issues in the field of secondary education.
One of the participants was Beksultan Bakhyt, a young history teacher at the Ermukhan Bekmakhanov School-Gymnasium in the village of Tole Bi, Zhambyl region. His videos about the daily life of the village school, which he posted on social networks, have received millions of views. According to him, the implementation of many ideas was facilitated by the improvement of the quality of the Internet in rural schools.
"We feel the President's care for teachers. My colleagues use various creative methods in teaching, but all this is possible thanks to the speed of the Internet. "In my videos, I try to convey the importance of my profession and show how important it is to find a common language with each student," says Beksultan Bakhyt.
Also, biology teacher Yerkanat Sadukhanov of the Abai Specialized School-Gymnasium-Boarding School shared his thoughts. The young teacher combines teaching with creativity. He participated in international projects and became a sound producer for a number of famous Hollywood actors.
The participants of the meeting not only shared their achievements, but also discussed how the measures being taken by the state have contributed to improving the quality of education in rural schools. Let us recall that since last year, the ministry has been implementing the republican project "Rural School - Quality Platform", aimed at reducing the gap in the quality of education between urban and rural schools, improving infrastructure and developing human resources in rural schools.
"The state is taking significant measures to support teachers and create a favorable educational environment. On the instructions of the President, the republican project "Rural School - Quality Platform" is being implemented, as a result of which the quality of education in rural schools has increased by an average of 7-9% over the past year, and the number of rural students who won prizes in republican Olympiads has increased by almost 10 times. More than 1,000 rural schools are undergoing modernization annually. "Work has begun on the renovation of 1,300 schools, about 900 of which are located in rural areas," said Gani Beisembayev.
At the end of the meeting, a number of teachers were awarded letters of appreciation from the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for their significant contribution to the development of the education system.
