Gani Beisembayev shared the results of ongoing projects to improve the quality of education in rural schools. The most effective model was the "Support school — small schools", implemented in the Aktobe region.

The results of the project showed that, compared with 2023, the quality of education in small rural schools increased by an average of 7%. A digital ecosystem of education has been formed in the region, and issues of access to high-quality Internet have been resolved. In this regard, the Ministry of Education proposes to scale this project in all regions of the country.

"The comprehensive work carried out in the Aktobe region contributed to improving the quality of education in small schools. The Ministry of Education, as the national coordinator, has developed a strategy for the development of rural schools. Now akimats need to ensure the phased implementation of the project scaling works on the basis of the developed strategy," the minister summed up.

It should be noted that this year 10 basic and 30 small schools of Akmola, Kostanay, Pavlodar, West Kazakhstan and North Kazakhstan regions were involved in the project. Since January 2025, 192 basic and 759 small schools from 17 regions will participate in the project. At the third stage, all remaining small schools should be covered by this project.
